Prepare a focused update to an existing presentation or profile.
Prepare the refresh
Open the imported presentation, presenter or Cadmium Education Harvester sponsor record and choose its refresh action. Find the corresponding run in Imports, review the changes, and apply the preview.
Targeted refreshes require review even when the event's scheduled-import policy is automatic.
What is refreshed
The operation updates the selected record's fields and mappings. Updating a shared presenter profile changes that profile wherever it is displayed.
It does not rewrite presentation rosters or sponsor relationships. Use a full import when those relationships need to change.
What is still fetched
A targeted refresh still fetches and validates the complete Cadmium Education Harvester feed before staging the chosen record. It narrows the writes, not the API requests. Feed limits and validation failures elsewhere in the event can still hold the refresh.
When to use a full import
Use a full import to reconcile confirmed presentation deletions, update relationships or create newly available records. A targeted refresh cannot create a missing target or treat an absent record as a deletion.
