Install and activate
Install the beta ZIP and connect your license.
Download the plugin
Sign in to your MetaSprout customer account and open Downloads. Download the MetaSprout ZIP for the release you intend to install. You do not need to unzip it.
If no download appears, confirm you are using the account associated with your order. A WordPress administrator login alone does not establish a purchase entitlement.
Install in WordPress
- Back up the site.
- Open Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin.
- Choose the MetaSprout ZIP and select Install Now.
- Activate the plugin.
- Confirm that MetaSprout appears in the WordPress sidebar.

Activate your license
Open MetaSprout → License, enter your license key, and complete activation. Confirm activation succeeded before starting an import.
A missing or expired license restricts new imports and layout editing. Existing public displays continue to use stored data. An unreachable licensing service can also prevent authorization for editing or imports.
Keep your MetaSprout license key separate from your Cadmium API key. Never paste either into a public page or support screenshot.
If activation fails
Check that the license belongs to MetaSprout, has an available activation, and is valid for the site. Ask the host to verify outbound HTTPS if the licensing service cannot be reached.
