Add calendar downloads
Let visitors save an individual presentation to a calendar application.
Configure the event
Select the event and open Calendar. Configure the timezone and date mode as needed. Optional venue, organizer and contact details are public information in downloaded files; use only details intended for visitors.
These settings affect calendar downloads, not the import schedule or stored source values.
Configure the layout or agenda
Enable calendar downloads in the supported display and choose the approved start/end fields. In Layout Studio, add and position the calendar action as part of the card. Event publishing and the required public fields must be enabled.
A formatted time such as “9:00 AM” alone does not specify a complete calendar start. Calendar generation needs valid date/time information.
Timed presentations
Use complete timestamps with an explicit offset or UTC Z, such as 2026-10-23T09:00:00-05:00. With an explicitly configured named event timezone, exact local timestamps such as 2026-10-23 09:00:00 are supported.
End must be after start. Ambiguous or nonexistent local daylight-saving times need correction; explicit offsets identify the intended instant. Invalid or missing dates omit the calendar link without hiding the presentation.
All-day presentations
All-day mode uses exact YYYY-MM-DD values. The end is exclusive: a one-day event on October 23 starts on 2026-10-23 and ends on 2026-10-24. The event-level mode is not a per-record mixed timed/all-day setting.
What visitors receive
The visitor downloads an individual .ics event. It is not a subscription, invitation or full-program export. MetaSprout cannot update or revoke a copy already imported into someone's calendar.
