Design a card layout
Build reusable presentation cards or a presenter directory from approved fields.
Start a layout
Open MetaSprout → Layout Studio, choose the event, and start a new layout. Give it a useful name, such as “Annual meeting agenda” or “Presenter directory.” Choose the record type and a starting design.
Presets change appearance while retaining selected fields. New cards start with approved fields where available. If the field list is empty, review the event's public approvals for that record type.
Arrange the content
Open a field to edit its caption, position and appearance. Drag fields in the list or directly on the preview to rearrange them. Move up and Move down provide a keyboard alternative.
Choose each field's position deliberately. Moving a field within one position does not necessarily move it across the title or another region. Title fields use the card heading treatment.
Choose widths such as 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% to place compatible fields beside one another. Review tablet/mobile settings for narrower cards. A pair of half-width fields can reduce height on desktop without forcing a narrow phone layout.
Hide field captions when you want only the values. For example, show “Research” without a “Track Name” caption. This changes the presentation, not the imported value.
Customize the appearance
Use Go to settings to reach layout spacing, colors, typography, photos, buttons and other panels. Expand advanced controls when needed. Settings use supported values rather than arbitrary CSS.
Choose a layout default for 12-hour or 24-hour time, with per-field overrides where appropriate. Those formatted modes omit seconds. Original value preserves source text.
Add supported actions such as presentation links, popup buttons, calendar downloads and sharing controls. Place and style actions alongside the fields. Calendar actions need additional configuration.
Preview and save
Sample content helps explore design. Approved event data lets you inspect actual field lengths and values. Test Fit, Tablet and Mobile previews, and check the placed page in your theme.
Save draft keeps public pages unchanged. Publish design updates placements using this layout. A shared layout change affects every page that references it.
The beta supports up to 12 fields per design and 30 layouts per event.
