Supported shortcodes
Use the two shortcode names implemented in MetaSprout beta.

The same shortcode renders presentation, presenter or sponsor layouts according to the saved design. Configure fields, filters, sort options, pagination and styles in Layout Studio, not through invented shortcode attributes.
Basic field listings

This produces a basic listing, not a saved Layout Studio design. Every requested field must be approved for the record type, and public displays must be enabled. The source field names must exist in your event.

The basic listing escapes field values as text. It does not interpret stored biography HTML as rich markup. Text ordering is not an automatic date parser.
A biography filtered by name

Approve both the biography and filter field. This matches a surname, not a unique person. limit="1" sets the page size; it does not make the match unique, and additional matching records can be paginated. Do not use this as an exact-person identifier.
A presenter-by-ID picker is not available in beta. There is no supported presenter-ID attribute to substitute here.
Unsupported examples
metasprout_schedule, metasprout_presenters and metasprout_archive are not registered shortcode names. There is no event attribute or implicit active-event fallback for the two supported shortcodes.
[metasprout connection="1"] is incomplete because it has no explicit fields. It is not an archive listing.
